Each of our Ecospheres comes with a 3 or 6 month Replacement Policy Guarantee.
Should all the shrimps die during the replacement period, provided the care guidelines set out in the accompanying Care Booklet have been followed, Ecospheres UK will replace the unit. The policy period will start from the original issue date of your original Ecosphere.
Our Replacement Policy Guarantee requires the customer to pay all shipping charges to and from EcoSphere UK.
Ecospheres UK agrees to replace your Ecosphere any time within the policy period indicated should less than one shrimp remain alive. No other warranty implied or otherwise, shall exist on the Ecosphere. No warranty exists where the glass is cracked or broken (unless in transit on initial delivery) or where the temperature or light limits have been exceeded. An ecosphere not accepted at original delivery will not be covered under the warranty. If an ecosphere has been reshipped or travelled with it could have adverse affects to the sphere and may negate any warranty.
Furthermore, we would like to offer you an opportunity to have a recharge/refill to your existing EcoSphere if all the shrimp have perished and there is no warranty available. If you would like to receive a quote for a recharge please contact us and provide us the size and age of your EcoSphere. We will work with you every step of the process in renewing your beloved EcoSphere.
If an Ecosphere should arrive with all the shrimp perished or broken up, to be covered under the replacement warranty the customer must contact Ecosphere within 48 hours of receipt of delivery to alert us of an immediate problem. This is extremely rare and usually the cause of the sphere not being opened upon delivery.
If you wish to make a claim under the warranty please email email@example.com in the first instance with the following information
• Proof of original purchase
• Serial Number (found on the bottom of Ecosphere)
• Photograph of the Ecosphere
We may ask for return of the unit depending on the above information. Do not return an ecosphere prior to any replacement guarantee being granted. Shipping an ecosphere back to us could negate any warranty as reshipping can have adverse affects to the sphere.
We recommend that you also review our Care page for further information on how to look after your new Ecosphere. Please note sale Ecospheres are not subject to a guarantee. Any missed delivery or unaccepted delivery of our ecosphere’s will void the guarantee on the sphere.
